To start BoxHero, users must register their products first. If an excel sheet with product information already exists, you can easily register your products by uploading the excel file to BoxHero.
Excel Initial Set Up Request
If you are having difficulty with Excel upload, request for an ‘Initial Set Up’ to the BoxHero team. Simply fill out a short form regarding your team name and upload your inventory Excel file and BoxHero team will set up your inventory right away. To register, CLICK HERE
Registering Products in Bulk with Excel
When creating your team, you can find the excel file upload button from the pop-up.
You can also upload your excel(s) in
Data Center > Import Excel when needed.
Preparing Excel File
First, an excel file of the product list is needed. The information required in the file is
Barcode, Product Name, Category. Please note that 'Category' must be set beforehand to add the information through Excel import in the
Data Center. For more, please refer to Additional Info page.
You can use your existing excel file if you have one. If you do not, please create one like the example below. If the barcode does not exist within the products you manage, please leave the barcode column empty to have barcodes generated automatically when uploaded.

Matching Columns after Upload
BoxHero provides a format for user's convenience, therefore, please choose the data to use for each column after uploading the file.
Product are default information and
Product Category does not have to be matched. Barcodes will automatically be formed by selecting
Barcode > Generate if barcodes do not exist in the file.
