❓ What if I'm managing products with expiry dates?
For products like milk, where the stocks are coming in regularly with different expiry dates, it's hard to manage on
Basic Mode since every expiry date must be registered individually. For such cases, BoxHero recommends using the
Multi Mode to reduce such inefficiency.
Multi Mode allows you to add properties that change by every stock in.
For products that need to be distinguished by properties, 'Sub-item' allows better product arrangement to save your time and energy. For every sub-item created, it's unique item ID is automatically created to help accurate stock tracking.
Example: 'Milk' in Supermarket
1) Product: 'Milk'
When managing various expiry dates for the same item, like milk, you can easily do this by adding expiry dates as
sub-item from Multi Mode.
When registering, the field inside the blue box indicates fixed information about the product.
The red field is for Sub-item, or an information you can add and update.
2) Adding Sub-item
3) Adding Sub-item Completed
When you have finished registering all the expiry dates, you can see the 4 sub-items on the right when you click 'Milk' from the
4) Making Stock In·Out with Sub-item
When making stock in·out, insert the quantity for each sub-item to complete the transaction.
