Set up safety stock quantities to identify items with low inventory and receive notifications via the mobile app if there are any stock shortages. You can customize low stock alert settings so you can avoid stockouts and keep enough inventory on hand.
You can define safety stock using numeric attributes and specify its value. If you haven’t already, set safety stock as one of the attributes for each item.
In Location Mode, you can set safety stock for all locations or specific locations to check for stock shortages.
All Locations: See the summed up total stock quantities of all locations.
Specific Location: See stock quantity of a specific location.
After adding the safety stock attribute, click on Edit Quantity to input the safety stock quantity.
To enter the safety stock quantities using an Excel file, go to Data Center > Item > Import Excel > Bulk Edit.
If you set the safety stock quantity to '0', you will receive a notification when the stock is completely depleted.
By setting safety stock quantities, you can easily check for items with low stock.
After setting safety stock, you can change your notification settings by going to Settings > Billing. Each user can set their own notification settings and customize the notification time, location, and whether or not to receive low stock alerts.
