BoxHero offers two plans:

  • Business Plan (paid): For teams

  • Personal Plan (free): For individual use

All new accounts start with a 30-day free trial of the Business Plan.


Business Plan

Full access to all BoxHero features, including team collaboration.

Pricing

  • Monthly: $20 per team/month

  • Annual: $216 per team/year ($18/month – save 10%)

What's Included

The Business Plan includes the following usage:

  • 3 members

  • 1,000 items

  • 3 locations

Note: Item count is the number of unique products or SKUs, not total quantity. For example, 10 SKUs with 100 units each = 10 items.

Add-Ons

Need more capacity? You can increase usage limits with add-ons:

  • Members: $5/month per additional member

  • Items: $10/month per additional 1,000 items

  • Locations: $10/month per additional 10 locations

Add-ons are available only with the Business Plan.


Managing Your Plan

Go to Settings > Billing to manage your subscription and view your current plan / usage.

  • Update Plan Upgrade or downgrade anytime. Plan changes are pro-rated and applied to your next payment.

  • Cancel Plan — Cancel subscription to stop future renewals. Canceling does not delete your dataarrow-up-right.

Free forever, with access to core inventory features only.

What's Included

The Personal Plan includes:

  • 1 member

  • 100 items

  • 1 location

After the 30-day trial ends, you'll automatically move to the Personal Plan unless you subscribe.


Programs & Rewards

Referral Credit

When someone signs up with your referral link, both of you receive credit equal to 50% of their first payment.

  • Find your referral link under Settings > Billing.

  • Credits cannot be redeemed for cash.

  • If the new subscription was created during a free trial, the credit is pro-rated and applied after the trial ends.

Earn 50% commission on a referred customer’s payments during their first year.

Nonprofit Pricing

Registered nonprofits may qualify for discounted pricing. Please provide legal documentation, such as a 501(c)(3) registration in the U.S., confirming your nonprofit status.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do admins and viewers count toward the user limit?

Yes. All account types—Admin, Member, and Viewer—count toward your total number of users.

Do you accept any other payment methods?

We accept major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. For annual subscriptions, you can also pay via PayPal or bank transfer. If you’d like to use a bank transfer, please contact Supportarrow-up-right.

We recommend using a credit card for easier plan changes and renewals. Payments are securely processed by Stripearrow-up-right. We don’t store your card details.

What happens if I exceed my usage limit?

If you go over your plan's usage limit, some BoxHero features will be restricted. You can reduce your usage or purchase additional capacity in your Settings > Billing.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

If you cancel, your subscription will not renew at the next billing date. You’ll still have access through the end of the current billing period. Your account will move to the free Personal Plan and premium features will be disabled. Your data will not be deleted.

Can I change the payment method during a subscription?

Yes. You can update or change the payment method at any time in Settings > Billing.

What if my payment doesn’t go through?

If a payment fails, we’ll retry up to 5 times within 7 days of the billing date. If all attempts fail, your subscription will be canceled. If this happens, please update your payment method and start your subscription again.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds aren’t available during an active subscription period. If you cancel your plan, you will retain access until the end of the current billing period and you will not be charged again.

I'm on the old Legacy Plan. How do I change my usage limits?

You’ll need to switch to the new Business Plan before you can adjust your limits. Go to Settings > Billing, select Update, move to the new plan, and then update your usage.

Why wasn't my payment processed even though I subscribed?

Please check if you are currently in the free trial period. If you make a payment during the free trial, it will be automatically charged at the end of the trial period.

It's possible that the card details are incorrect, your bank declined the charge, or the card expired. If everything looks correct, contact your card issuer or email [email protected]envelope for help.
