Getting Started
If your item already has a barcode, simply register it in BoxHero by scanning the barcode. If the item does not have a barcode, you can easily generate one within BoxHero.
For Existing Barcodes
Locate the barcode already on your item.
Scan it into BoxHero via:

For New Barcodes
Auto-generate: Create unique barcodes directly in BoxHero.

If your barcode isn't being recognized, try scanning it into a text editor like Notes or Notepad. The barcode number should appear followed by an automatic line break (Enter key).
Most barcode scanners are set to add an Enter key by default after scanning. If yours doesn’t do this, please refer to the scanner’s manual to enable this setting.
